Who Am I?

My name is Jamie and I have a fabulous hubby and four wonderful children. Three of our children are home with us and one is still in Haiti waiting on our adoption to be finished so we can bring him home. Cayden our oldest is 5, Amos is 4.5, Deacon is 4 and Story, our baby girl, is 2. Oh what joy I have in my kids!

we have a heart for adoption, for missions and for loving people exactly where they are.

Our youngest son, Deacon, was adopted as an infant through domestic adoption. Story & Amos joined our family through international adoption.

i enjoy working out, even though I sometimes make that the last priority on my to do list. in 2007 I ran two half marathons (2:07 & 2:09), and am currently training for a half here in Austin in Feb. I love to run, but sometimes LIFE just gets in the way!

i made a new year’s resolution in 2006 to read more, and i have read more each year, but it is a challenge for me to take the time to sit and read. i read mostly on trips, waiting in carpool lines, while donating plasma and every once in a while at night! i try to read at least 12 books a year!

i love to watch tv and movies. tivo has changed our tv watching and netflix allows me to see movies even if i never get to the movie theatre.

i am a christian and value my relationship with jesus christ. i have not always been a person who loves god and follows jesus, but i have learned that the joy and peace that comes along with a personal relationship with jesus christ is the best thing that i have going for me these days. i am not perfect and screw up lots but i am striving to be a better person that loves people and loves god.

i have big dreams for my life. I want to live it to the fullest. i want my kids to know that their mommy loved Jesus, loved their daddy, loved people and loved them!
